A place to voice my tots out loud!
It is my first experience attending a performance at the galleries. It’s just an ordinary gallery but a gallery at National Museum of Singapore.
The experience is extraordinary because for once I am not seated in the dark and lulling myself to a doze.
Plus, I am surrounded by paintings and most importantly there is no gap between the performances and the audience.
T’ang Quartet, you guys are just so wonderful.
I have been waiting to cook cream soup for a long while since I have discovered that I can substitute milk/thick cream with soya milk. I decided to try my own recipe and not puree the vegetables into the liquid form.
So I have turned it into a simple soup dish instead with bacon, onions, celery, garlic (1 clove), carrots and soya milk. For seasoning, I used all purpose seasoning (McCormick), dried basil and black pepper. I grilled the bacon in the frying pan, remove it from the pan when they turn brown and lightly crispy. Next I add the vegetables in the following sequence, onions, garlic, carrots and lastly celery and sauteed them in the pan. When the vegetables are almost ready, I prepared a saucepan with soya milk at low heat. Before the soya milk boils, the sauteed vegetables are transferred to the saucepan which is cooked at low heat before I turned up the heat to bring it to a boil. The bacon is added the mixture before I turn up the heat.

It looks a little dry cos the soya milk is soaked up by the vegetables so I plan to put more soya milk into the mixture when I heat it up for my lunch tomorrow.
I have sent my phone for a retreat (servicing cos the battery has overheated) today. So I have got myself a normal basic phone while waiting for it to be rejuvenated.
It has been a tough day but I am getting the hang of using a basic handphone without the apps.
I have been too reliant on technology so it is a good time to relax and look out of the windows while taking a bus ride. Learn to patient while waiting for bus instead of counting down the minutes after checking the estimated bus arrival app.
Hopefully I can hang on till my phone recovers.

I’m on my way back from the charity run and feeling bored so i decided to load this post.
I am promoted to being 二姨 as of today, 6 Oct 2011.
My elder sis has given birth to a baby boy this morning.
Seeing her baby makes me feel like starting a family too. Sigh~ but to do that I have 1st got to find a boyfriend and get married which is easier said than done.
Well, I have decided to let nature take its course. We can’t rush such things so I just have to be patient cos I know that my other half is somewhere out there. Our paths may have crossed more than once or we may not have bumped into each other yet. It is just a matter of time before we recognize that we are each other’s soulmate.

I need to suntan again soon but my knee has not fully recover yet. Hmm, should I risk it?
